Bus Registration

Bus registration for 2026-27 school year is now open. Please click on the red banner below to register.

  • Costs and registration information is available below.
  • Families will be billed at the beginning of each trimester for service during that trimester.

The rates for our Bus Program have increased for the 2026-2027 school year.  The rate increases this year are due to rising fuel charges and the higher cost of leasing transportation from area bus vendors. The Pacific Northwest is an area that has one of the highest rates of bus driver compensation. SAAS must pass the costs of the service onto the families using the service. SAAS does not make money running this service. We offer and manage the morning and afternoon bus service to enable easier transportation to and from the school, as well as for environmental stewardship and traffic reduction purposes.

REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2026-27

  • $610 for AM Routes per trimester
  • $610 for PM Routes per trimester
  • We will offer a free after-activities shuttle to 3rd and University for students to catch either Metro buses or the light rail north, south, or east.

We are well-served by public transportation. The G-line runs every 6 minutes along Madison. Students can also catch this bus to transfer to light rail, north/south buses, the foot ferry to West Seattle, etc. Students under 18 years of age ride free with a student Orca card.  Visit FreeYouthTransitPass.com for the latest information.

TO REGISTER

Registration will open in early-to-mid May. More details will be shared at the beginning of May.

Please note:

  • Families will register for the school year but can opt out of the program at any time for a prorated amount.
  • Routes will only run if they meet minimum enrollment requirements for each specific route.
  • Registered families will be billed at the beginning of each trimester. If you are on a monthly payment plan, you will be billed starting in October twice per trimester (Fall Tri: October, November.  Winter Tri: January, February. Spring Tri: April, May).
  • Families who elect to pay tuition either in one payment or two payments will be billed for the bus once for the entire year in September.  If such families decide to stop using the service in later trimesters, please contact businessoffice@seattleacademy.org about refund options.
  • Families can make payments via ACH without any additional fees.
  • Families who already receive financial aid for tuition will automatically qualify for bus financial aid. We will calculate the financial aid for families when they are billed in September.
