Biography: Rob joined SAAS in 2020 as an 8th grade History teacher. Previously, he has worked at schools in Idaho, Colorado, and Czechia. Having grown up overseas in an expatriate family, Rob enjoys sharing his passion for human geography and sense of wonder for the world. He is a graduate of Elon University in North Carolina and an alumnus of the National Outdoor Leadership School, with certification as a Wilderness First Responder. Rob helps lead the SAAS annual Baker backcountry skiing trip and coaches soccer and volleyball, and can be found outside of school riding his bike around Seattle or running the trails with his dog Sama.
