Biography: Dawn Abbott was a math and science tutor from 2011 to 2023 in Seattle, Washington, where she worked with many students with learning disabilities. In addition to tutoring, Dawn also consulted with Community of Children as a website designer and assisted with digital training tutorials on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). During her time as a tutor, she helped support the Seattle Academy's Accommodations program with tutoring support, test proctoring, and programmed SQUAD, a program that allows teachers access to all of their students' accommodations. In her spare time, Dawn likes to tinker on her DIY projects and is an avid tennis player where she is assistant coach for the Girls Tennis Club.
