Biography: Brittany joined Seattle Academy in 2022 as an Upper School Biology Teacher. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and moved to Boston for her BS in Biology and Biotechnology Engineering from Tufts University. After graduating, she drove across the country to pursue a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Washington. Since 2020, Brittany has taught science to grades 5-12 and has found her passion lies in teaching high school biology. She loves hobbies at the intersection of art and science, and spends her free time throwing pottery, weaving, and baking.
