Biography: Hi! I'm Nura and I am really excited to be joining the SAAS community as the new yoga teacher! Born in Germany, raised in Zimbabwe, and having spent my adult life in NY, Switzerland and currently, Canada, home for me is where my community is. I have a BA in Visual Arts from Bennington College, and have studied yoga, massage therapy and other healing modalities since graduating in 2003. I've spent the last 20 years teaching yoga to everyone from middle schoolers all the way up to 80 + year olds, and everything in between. My 9 years of teaching high school yoga in Switzerland helped me realize that this practice is a gift to everyone - physically, mentally and emotionally. I look forward to cultivating balance in the community by bringing some calm to all the excitement at SAAS!
