Biography: Hannah returned to her home in Seattle to teach at SAAS in 2022. She teaches Botany and 7th grade science, runs the Middle School Adventure Club, and has participated in a variety of SAAS trips, including the Backcountry Ski trip, 6th grade Alaska, and the MS Sailing trip. Before teaching at SAAS, Hannah went to Bowdoin College where she studied earth and oceanographic science, received a master’s degree in forestry through the European Erasmus Mundus program, and worked across the world as a field ecologist and outdoor educator. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside in any way possible, dabbling in various crafts and reading.
