Biography: My name is Alice Smith (she/her) and I’m joining the SAAS community as the new school counselor. I’m moving from Boston this summer and am so excited to get to experience Seattle and join the wonderful team at SAAS. I’m coming to you from a small Catholic school in Boston, where I work as the Director of College & School Counseling. Prior to this position, I spent the majority of my career in higher education, working at Northeastern University in undergraduate admissions and pre-college programs. I completed my master’s in College Student Development & Counseling. Although I’m coming from Boston, I’m originally from Bloomington, Indiana, so I’m a true Hoosier at heart. I’m looking forward to working with the faculty and staff and getting to know the students, who I hear are a wonderful and unique crew. I’m also looking forward to the new adventure of Seattle, so I’ll be looking for any recommendations of things to do!
