Biography:
Judy was born in Hungary and came to the United States at age of 10, speaking just a few words of English. She eventually expanded her vocabulary, graduated from Binghamton University in New York, and became a journalist. After working at a summer book camp, she learned the rewards of teaching and working with kids, and returned to school to become a teacher. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a Masters in Liberal Studies and started teaching Middle School English and History in Los Angeles. At Bridges Academy, she learned a lot about teaching and working with neurodiverse students. This is Judy's 13th year as a teacher and first at Seattle Academy teaching study skills. Judy loves the beautiful Pacific Northwest outdoors, family time with her adult children, and playing peek-a-boo with her first grandchild.
