Biography: Annie joined Seattle Academy in 2023 as a Middle School Study Skills Teacher. Although she has lived in Seattle for longer than middle schoolers have been alive (since 2007), she grew up in Vermont and Michigan. She came to Seattle for Americorps and stayed for the outdoor adventures. After receiving a Masters in Teaching at Seattle University, Annie taught special education at Mercer Middle School for six years. She is passionate about helping students identify their growth areas and build their strengths. While not teaching, she can be found reading the newest YA novels.
