Biography: Born and raised in Seattle, Zoe is deeply excited to be back supporting and learning with young people in our city. After graduating from Garfield High School, Zoe attended Pitzer College where she discovered her passion for education, especially as a tool for cultivating equity. Upon receiving her degree, she returned home to be closer to family and began working with The Freedom Education Project Puget Sound, a nonprofit that offers an accredited college program to people incarcerated at Washington Correctional Center for Women. Four years later, the students and professors made it impossible for her not to want to become an educator. After two years of teaching language arts & social studies in Cle Elum, Washington. Zoe is grateful to return to her roots in the city to share her love for Seattle's history and community, and the outdoor adventures that surround us with our students. Go Cardinals!
