Biography: Jasmine Battles (she/her) rejoined SAAS in 2024, resuming her previous role as a Study Skills teacher. She’s excited to return to the educational work she enjoys and to be part of SAAS’ dynamic culture. Jasmine was born and raised in Houston, TX, and has been an educator for nearly nine years with extensive experience in learning coaching, one-on-one instruction & support, and small group instruction & support. Throughout her career, Jasmine has worked with students of varying abilities but most of her experience has been with students with learning differences. In addition to a career as an educator, she has worked on projects in the startup and non-profit industries that include research & development, curriculum writing, content development, and program development & management. Jasmine has a B.S. in Community Health, an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and she’s pursuing a PhD in Educational Law. In her free time, Jasmine loves reading, researching, cooking, and serving in her ministry community.
