Biography: Scott Goode joined Seattle Academy in 2024 and serves as Assistant Head of the Upper School for the 2025–26 school year, partnering with students, families, and faculty to support grades 9–12. Before moving to Seattle, he spent 21 years in Atlanta, Georgia, at a school serving students with learning differences, where he worked as a science teacher, advisor, coach, and High School Principal. Scott earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and an M.S. in Space Education from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also previously worked in the technology and biotechnology sectors. A former outdoor adventure guide, Scott enjoys connecting campus life to the outdoors through travel planning, trip leadership, and the occasional question: “What if we took learning outside?”
