Biography: Kaneer (they/them) embarked on a journey from North Carolina to Seattle in 2018, captivated by the promise of a vibrant community and a culture of inclusivity. Driven by a passion for creating compassionate environments, they thrive on fostering connections and promoting understanding. Their professional focus centers on implementing systemic positive reinforcement strategies within educational settings, with a special emphasis on enhancing executive function skills among neurodiverse student populations. Now, as they take on the role of a Study Skills teacher at SAAS in 2024, Kaneer brings with them a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to empowering students. Beyond the classroom, Kaneer finds joy and solace in diverse pursuits, whether immersing themselves in the intricate world of Dungeons and Dragons, finding inspiration in the grace of ballet dancers, or simply unwinding amidst the serene beauty of the park with their beloved canine companion by their side.
