Biography: Nick joined Seattle Academy in 2024 as a Middle and Upper School Innovations teacher. Since he was a middle school student in Taipei, Taiwan, Nick has wanted to be a teacher. He recognized early on that this was his passion and calling, and every educational decision since then has moved him toward that goal. After graduating from Taipei American School, he attended Occidental College, where he studied Diplomacy and World Affairs and Theater, and minored in Economics. He then taught at a military summer academy in Indiana before earning his Master of Arts in Teaching (5–12 History) from Tufts University. Nick spent the following five years in Cambridge, Massachusetts, teaching across the district in six different schools. During this time, he also earned a license in All Levels Instructional Technology. He and his wife moved to Seattle in July 2023, and since then, Nick has been teaching at The Evergreen School. He is excited to continue teaching, coaching, advising, and leading trips at SAAS. In his free time, Nick enjoys cooking feasts, practicing photography, and playing video games.
