Biography: Chaeli grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where she was able to attend both public and private schools and experience the transformative community and culture within independent schools first-hand. After graduating from Linfield University in 2020 with a BA in English Literature and Secondary Education, she stayed in Oregon to teach 9th grade English for two years. She decided there wasn't enough winter in Oregon and moved north again in 2022 to begin substitute teaching in Kitsap County and volunteering at a local nonprofit. Chaeli moved to Seattle and joined SAAS in 2024 and is excited to continue growing roots here at school and in the wider Seattle community. When not working, Chaeli bakes cookies, cuddles with her fat cat, and avoids making eye-contact with her unfinished knitting and crochet projects.
