Biography: Ally joined Seattle Academy in 2024 as a Middle and Upper School Health Teacher. She grew up on a farm in Yelm, Washington enjoying the outdoors and playing club sports until athletics brought her to Seattle. Ally competed for Seattle University’s NCAA Division I softball team bringing home two WAC Championships and many honors. During her time at Seattle University, she majored in Humanities for Teaching and minored in Mathematics and Social Welfare. While coaching and substituting for Yelm Community Schools, she earned her Masters in Teaching and Yoga Teacher Certification. Ally enjoys honing her investigative and experiential learning strategies during the summers while teaching Wilderness survival skills to children. Ally values educating the whole child and fostering personal connections among staff, students, and families. She is energized to implement her knowledge of character development, team building, and meditation in the classroom and on the field.
