Biography: Izzy joined Seattle Academy in 2024 as a Middle School Physical Education Teacher. She grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Seattle to attend Seattle University to play softball. She competed on the Division 1 Softball team as a four-year starter. She was a 3x MVP for the team along with earning First-Team All-Conference all four years. At SU, she earned a Business Degree in Marketing and minored in Entrepreneurship. She then decided to pursue her Master's in Sports Business and Leadership at SU and a certification in Sustainability in Business. During this time, she worked for the Athletics Department, the Seattle Storm, and Girls on the Run. At Girls on the Run, she helped bring programming to schools, fundraised for scholarships, and organized the end-of-the-season 5K. In her spare time, she loves watching sports and teaching softball lessons. She is excited to cultivate relationships with staff, families, and students and be a part of this awesome community. She is looking forward to empowering the next generation of students.
