Biography: Olivia has been working at SAAS since 2021 as the dance program’s Costume Manager. This past year, she co-taught the Middle School Dance Project ensemble and was a guest choreographer in the Upper School. She is excited and humbled to be taking on a larger teaching role in the Upper School this coming year. She grew up in Seattle, where she studied Dance and American Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington. She has been dancing professionally for seven years, working with various dance companies and training in an ever-growing array of dance forms and cultural practices. She is passionate about the intersection of art and activism, and about sharing dance as a form of personal exploration, deeper community engagement, and a shared expression of humanity.
