Biography: Caitlyn McGinn grew up in Arlington, Texas, with her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother before attending Barnard College in New York City. After graduating with a degree in English, she worked for education nonprofits before deciding to pursue teaching. She taught high school English for seven years in the Dallas area before moving to Washington state in 2021 with her two kitties, Lucy and Ethel. Once in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, she earned her master's degree in Learning and Technology and taught for another three years in public education. When not teaching or pet-sitting, she loves movies, reading, and beautiful but easy hikes. Caitlyn is passionate about helping students learn how to learn and build positive habits that help them achieve their goals. She is excited to join Seattle Academy in the Fall 2024 and become a Cardinal!
