Biography: Sarah-Mae grew up in Oregon, studied journalism at the University of Oregon and has worked in journalism and nonprofit communications since 2020. In 2025, she became the Editorial Content Manager at Seattle Academy, where she strives to capture the many important stories unfolding at SAAS. She’s previously written for local and regional news publications, nonprofits focused on child welfare and housing security and done academic advising at the University of Oregon. She also loves being around kids and teens and has worked as an au pair, nanny and tutor. Outside of work, she enjoys going swing dancing, doing yoga, spending time outside and exploring Washington.
