Biography: Kari began working in education in 2015 and has taught in a variety of school communities across New York State. Starting in 2025, she is excited to teach math in the Upper School. She holds a master’s degree in education and is passionate about helping students develop critical thinking skills, confidence, and a sense of curiosity in the classroom. Originally from the East Coast, Kari and her spouse are eager to put down roots in the West and explore everything the region has to offer. Outside of school, she enjoys climbing, lifting, running, playing ultimate frisbee, hiking, and just about any activity that gets her outdoors and discovering new places.
