Biography: Caleb joined Seattle Academy in 2025 to teach English and history. Contrary to popular belief, he didn’t get into teaching for the money or the rockstar lifestyle—he genuinely loves the work. Over the past 13 years, Caleb has taught English and history in Connecticut, North Carolina, and his home state of Washington. He feels most "at home" when designing innovative courses with units centered on video games, dream analysis, and water-balloon capture the flag. His academic strengths lie in American literature, American history, and contemporary film, though he enjoys weaving in elements of psychology, sociology, and philosophy. Outside of school, Caleb loves writing music, playing video games, and spending relaxing weekends with his family.
