Biography: Emma joined Seattle Academy in 2025, teaching Upper School Math. She completed both her undergraduate and master’s degrees at the University of Washington, earning a Master's in Teaching Secondary Math and a Computer Science endorsement in June 2025. Emma has worked as a private tutor since 2018 and served as a Summer Educator for the Pacific Science Center from 2019 to 2020. A passionate fan of math—especially non-Euclidean geometries—she also enjoys endurance sports (she rowed for UW in 2021–2022), spending time in nature, and folding origami. A former kayak and backpacking instructor for Camp Orkila, she looks forward to joining students on future wilderness trips.
