Biography:
Craig grew up on the island of Jamaica and has traveled to four continents to advance his academic education and pursue his dream of playing professional soccer. Craig completed his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University, and after graduating, he started his professional career with the Seattle Sounders. In Seattle, he developed a love for the outdoors and a passion for leadership in working with youth, especially youth from underserved communities. Craig joined the Seattle Academy community in 2001 as an athletic coordinator and upper school boys' soccer coach before transitioning to teaching middle school physical education. Craig also coaches the Middle School boys' and girls' soccer and track teams and leads SAAS Upper School students on the Odyssey and Senior Yukon trips. Craig has coordinated and directed youth development programs in the greater Seattle area for the past seven years, including South Park Summer Camps and Rainier Prep enrichment programs. Craig also has a Wilderness First Responder Certificate. Craig is excited to bring this knowledge to SAAS as an educator and a coach and to share his passion for traveling, music, playing sports, and hiking with the community.
