Biography: Peter Clark joined Seattle Academy in 2006 making this his 16th year. He has been the Science Department Chair for over 10 years now. I am unsure how to categorize Peter’s significance to this community, and his department specifically, as it is immeasurable. He has taught 9th-Grade Science, 11th-Grade Biology, and a host of electives such as Marine Science, Geographical Information System (GIS) & Urban Ecology, and Sustainability. With his generosity of spirit and sense of adventure, it’s also no surprise that Peter has led and attended the Odyssey, Alaska, Yukon, Utah, Zambia, India, China, and many other SAAS trips far and close (like the Seattle Challenge). He has coached the boys soccer and lacrosse teams and advised the Juggling Club. Peter is a veteran teacher with 23 years under his belt, earned a Master’s in Biology from Tufts University, and grew up and lived all over New England before he moved to Seattle in 2005.
