Biography: Chelsea joined Seattle Academy in 2011 as a Middle School Math Teacher. During her time at SAAS, Chelsea helped start the Middle School Robotics Club and Computational Thinking courses. She has her Wilderness First Responder Certificate and loves kayaking and camping around the Pacific Northwest. Chelsea also enjoys leading SAAS trips and retreats, including Seattle Challenge, Odyssey, MS Yukon, and MS Sailing. Before moving to Seattle, Chelsea lived in New York City where she taught high school math after receiving her Bachelor’s in Teaching Secondary Math from New York University and her Master’s in Computing and Education from Columbia University.
