Biography: Michael has worked at SAAS since 2000 teaching theater and directing generations of alum in memorable musicals, comedies and dramas. Michael comes from a big, Italian, Seattle family that stretches back to the founding of the city. He received a degree in Musical Theatre Performance from the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music. His own performance career has taken him to all fifty states on various tours. In Chicago, he worked at Second City and Steppenwolf. He has written for TV shows such as “Everybody Loves Raymond” and has produced original plays and musicals for local theaters such as the 5th Avenue and Village. Michael is a fan of a particular television franchise that has the guiding principle of “Infinite diversity in infinite combinations.”
