Biography: Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Martin (He/Him), studied Chemistry at James Madison University in Virginia before earning his teaching certificate (Math and Science) and Master of Arts in Science Education at the Maryland College of Notre Dame. Martin arrived at Seattle Academy in 2012 with experience teaching Science in Colorado, Maryland, Venezuela, and Switzerland. In 2019 he earned his National Board Teaching Certificate. Martin developed and continues to lead the Backcountry Ski trip, helped start the SAAS Wrestling program, and enjoys building community through advisory, trips, and student life.
