Biography: Rick, a Seattle native, has been a member of the Seattle Academy community since 2000 and joined the staff in 2012. During his first eleven years, he managed the Senior Project and Service Learning programs. He is now in his third full year on the Community Impact & Inclusion team, where he manages the Upper School affinity program and supports the Admissions Department. Rick’s daughter, Lauren, a Seattle Academy Class of 2007 graduate, earned her degree in Musical Theatre from Howard University, graduating *summa cum laude* from the Department of Fine Arts. Outside of school, Rick is an avid golfer and fitness enthusiast. He and his son, Marques, have partnered with Aaron and Elmer Dixon, founders of the Seattle chapter of the Black Panther Party, to produce the full-length documentary *Seattle Black Panthers: Fight for Justice & Freedom*, which is scheduled to premiere in the spring of 2027.
