Biography: Gerald Elliott is the Robotics Program Director at Seattle Academy and teaches engineering. Over more than a dozen years, he has grown the robotics program and coached teams to six different world championships across three leagues. A Seattle native, Gerald attended the University of Washington, where he earned a double major in History and History and Philosophy of Science before completing a Master’s in Teaching. While studying at UW, he worked as a scientific instrument maker in the Oceanography Department from 2003 to 2013, before joining SAAS in 2013. Gerald loves creating things and spends his free time in his garden and machine shop, sharing his passion and skills with his daughter, Rosie.
