Biography: Marie grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduated from UC Berkeley with a BS in Cognitive Science and speaks English, and conversational Mandarin and Cantonese. After graduating, she spent 3 years teaching English abroad in South Korea and 3 years teaching Math and Science in an elementary school in Houston before becoming a Coordinator at Seattle Academy in 2021. Marie also leads the Seattle Academy Leadership Team (SALT), occasionally coaches US girls' tennis, and chaperones the Bouldering Club. She enjoys playing the piano, singing, practicing yoga, reading historical non-fiction, and traveling and is excited to share her knowledge with the SAAS community.
