Biography:
Charlotte joined Seattle Academy in 2017 as a Middle School Math Teacher. She is originally from New Jersey and went to Northeastern University in Boston, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics. She joined the Peace Corps in 2011 and moved to southern Africa, where she developed her passion for teaching math. She moved to Seattle in 2013 and received her Master's in Teaching from the University of Washington. Charlotte has helped develop the math curriculum at SAAS and oversees all the math placements for Middle School students. She is also one of Seattle Academy's Instructional Coaches, where she spends time helping other teachers build on their pedagogy. Charlotte has been involved in many extracurriculars at SAAS, including girls' volleyball and basketball, Harry Potter Club, Calligraphy Club, Cooking and Baking Club, and the 6th grade Alaska trip. She loves reading, painting, camping, and spending time with her family.
