Biography: Aeva joined Seattle Academy in 2017 as an Upper School Studies Skills teacher. They grew up in the Greater Seattle area and earned their BA in Humanities for Teaching from Seattle University, where they were able to complete their student teaching in the Seattle Academy English and Spanish departments. Aeva completed the NWAIS New Teacher Cohort in 2020 and attended Executive Function Coaching programs in 2019 and 2021. They are the faculty advisor for both the Autistic and Sexuality and Gender Affinity groups in the Upper School. An avid Star Wars fan, Aeva enjoys reading sci/fi fantasy, attending Conventions, and binge watching Netflix.
