Biography: Grace Beeman joined Seattle Academy in 2026 as an Upper School English teacher in the Options Program. Originally from the Seattle area, she has lived in cities around the world, including Beijing, London, San Diego, and Philadelphia. Grace earned her bachelor’s degree in Cross-Disciplinary Studies: Teacher Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching from Seattle Pacific University. From 2024 to 2026, she taught high school English in Philadelphia, where she focused on interdisciplinary reading, writing, project-based learning, and elective courses in poetry and psychology. She hopes to coach cross country at Seattle Academy and looks forward to sharing her passions for travel, creative writing, art journaling, and community building with students. Outside of school, Grace enjoys exploring new places, writing, creating art journals, and fostering meaningful connections through learning and shared experiences.
