Biography: Eileen is from Eastern Washington and has worked at SAAS as an Upper School History teacher since 2018. After earning her BA in International Area Studies and Education Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, she followed her interest in education to the Progressive Education Lab where she trained under veteran teachers at The Cambridge School of Weston (MA), The Unquowa School (CT), Calhoun School (NY), and The Putney School (VT). She taught humanities at The Putney School for several years before earning her MA in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Washington.
