Biography: Jason Gough joined Seattle Academy in 2010 and has served as the Chair of the English Department since 2018. During his tenure at SAAS, Jason has worked as a college advisor in the Office of College Counseling, coached the Upper School Cross-Country and Track teams, and (co-)advised a number of clubs, including the Rock 'n Roll Club and the Chess Club. Over the course of his teaching career, Jason has taught ESL in Prague, philosophy courses at the university level, and English at boarding schools, such as Western Reserve Academy and Phillips Exeter Academy. His favorite book is Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Or maybe Ellison's Invisible Man. Or perhaps Woolf's Orlando. It's hard to say.
