Biography: Jason Gough joined Seattle Academy in 2010 and has served as the Chair of the English Department for four years. In addition to teaching freshmen, sophomores, and seniors during his tenure at SAAS, Jason has worked as a college advisor in the Office of College Counseling, coached the Upper School Cross-Country and Track teams, and (co-)advised the National Charity League, the Rock 'n Roll Club, and the nascent Literary Analysis Club. Before arriving at Seattle Academy, Jason taught ESL in Prague, philosophy courses at the university level, and English at a day school in Florida and a boarding school in Ohio. Jason is currently on the faculty of the Phillips Exeter Academy Summer School because he finds he can't get enough of teaching.
