Biography: Patrick Kuster, originally from Berlin, Germany, joined the Seattle Academy community in 2019. He holds bachelor's degrees in History from the Freie Universitaet Berlin and the University of Washington, and a Master's in Teaching from the University of Washington. Before SAAS, he taught in public and independent schools across Western Washington, emphasizing critical thinking and relevance in history. Outside of teaching, Patrick enjoys Italian Opera and exploring the San Juan Islands with his folding kayak. He spends time with his wife and three children, often trying out new recipes. Patrick's immigrant background and dedication to education bring a unique perspective to the SAAS community.
