Biography: Allison was born and raised in Seattle and spent 7 years in Eastern Washington for college and her first teaching job. Allison earned her BA in Math Education from Central Washington University and MEd from WGU. Allison spent her first 5 years at SAAS in the Middle School, teaching 8th grade math and then serving two years as the 8th Grade Dean of Students. In 2024, Allison joined the Upper School faculty as 9th Grade Dean of Students. Prior to joining the SAAS faculty, Allison taught middle school for 3 years in Selah, WA, and high school in Burien, WA for 12 years. Retreats, sporting events, dance recitals, pep assemblies, and the micro-moments in the hallways are all aspects of SAAS that Allison thoroughly enjoys. Outside of SAAS, Allison enjoys reading, camping, and watching baseball and softball.
