Biography: Jon brings over 15 years of teaching experience and a decade of international camp development to Seattle Academy. He joined SAAS in 2019 to spearhead the Math Lab program, which emphasizes individualized lessons, self-paced learning, and student-centered approaches. Jon holds a Master's in Education from Antioch University, where he focused on bridging traditional education with neurodiverse populations. Throughout his career, he has worked in schools around the Puget Sound region, including Charles Wright Academy, Academy of Precision Learning, and Yellowwood Academy. Jon is dedicated to providing exceptional math education tailored to each student's needs, fostering confidence and proficiency in mathematics. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and engaging in outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking and rollerblading.
