Samantha Casne ’01 was recently elected as the President of the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington (NWPC-WA). The NWPC is a multi-partisan grassroots membership organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in elected and appointed office at all levels of government through recruitment, training, and PAC support for endorsed women candidates.

Over the past several years, Samantha has worked in a number of political roles, outlined in our August 2016 article, Samantha Casne '01 Works to Advance Women in Politics Her interest in women’s studies and politics was sparked in Steve Retz’s classes.
