Hello 6th Grade Families,
As we approach our primary trip sign-up deadline of Thursday, November 10th (tomorrow), we wanted to provide you with a quick update on the 6th-Grade Alaska Trip. There are still aspects of this trip we are waiting on from our partners in Alaska so we do not have all the details yet. We will be sending a more formal announcement email with a sign-up link in the next couple of weeks but wanted to share what we know now before the sign-ups close for other trips. Current 6th graders are able to sign up for this 6th-Grade Alaska Trip or the Puget Sound Sailing Trip (June 19-23).
6th Grade Alaska Trip 2023 Details
Leaders
Julie Holstad (6th-Grade Dean) is the primary leader for this trip. We will have two to three additional faculty members help lead this trip.
Dates
This trip will run within the window of June 22 - July 2. It might not be that full time, but we will not go outside that window.
Cost
TBD (likely between $3,200 - $3,800 per student). Financial aid is available.
Location
The group will travel to southeast Alaska and explore areas around Ketchikan, Juneau and more!
Activities
Sea kayaking, zip lines/ropes course, Hiking, fishing and more!
