Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2029,

We are just days away from the Odyssey trip, and we are excited for the adventures ahead! 

On Thursday, September 25, students should bring their fully packed bags to campus for a gear check with their advisory group. Please take a moment to review the Odyssey Gear List with your student to ensure that everything is ready.

• Drop-off: Students should bring their packed bag directly to their advisory classroom (unless otherwise instructed by their advisor).
• Borrowing Gear: If your student needs to borrow gear from SAAS, please complete this form before Thursday.

Thank you for helping your student prepare for this important experience. We are looking forward to launching the Class of 2029 into Odyssey with confidence and excitement.

Upcoming Important Dates:

• Thursday, September 25: Gear Check: students will bring their fully packed bags in before school and store them in their assigned location. Leaders will go through their bags to make sure they have everything. Student gear will then stay on campus until the trip. More details will be shared via email from your student’s advisor via email.
• Monday - Wednesday, September 29 - October 1: The Odyssey Trip
  • Depart, September 29: 8:15 AM Drop off (meet in your advisory location) - gather gear, then walk as a group to the Middle School gym.
  • Return, October 1: Between 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM to 13th Ave. Look for an email update this day with a better estimate of return time.
