Hello Seniors and Families,

Thank you to those who have signed up for the Senior Yukon Trip! 

  • If you have not signed up and plan to go, it is not too late: Please click here before continuing on. 
  • If you do not intend to go, please email Stacie Cone.  
  • If you have signed up, please read on for important next steps.

Thank you for signing up for the Senior Yukon Trip (March 29-April 7) We are thrilled to be making our return to the Yukon for the first time since 2019. We are holding a spot for you and ask that you confirm your intention to join by Friday, December 9 by completing the steps below. 
 

TRIP FORMS AND WAIVERS
 
  • Read each document thoroughly  
  • Print legibly & provide all requested information  
  • Print & sign the form in ink or electronically 
  • Submit the forms via Magnus Health, email, or drop them at any front desk with Attention to: Freddy Carley

DUE Friday, December 9: 

Complete and submit all the following forms. These forms are available on Magnus Health. 

  1. Trip Permission Form
  2. Student Conduct Agreement
  3. Health Information and Medical Consent
  4. Fox Bay Waiver
  5. Cathers Dog Sledding Waiver
  6. Submit a copy of your passport or enhanced driver's license.
 

TRIP PAYMENT
 
  • If you have requested financial assistance (FA), you will receive a separate email in the next day with your FA grant agreement and instructions.
  • If you did not request FA, please use this link below to pay for the trip.

DUE Friday, December 9: 
 

PRE-TRIP MEETINGS
 
  • January 12 (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM) - Detailed meeting for seniors and parents/guardians about trip logistics, travel, needs, gear, etc. This will be a joint meeting with Rick DuPree also about Senior Projects.
  • March 23 (6:00 PM- 7:30 PM) - Gear Check Night. Students will have all gear checked and then will leave their trip gear here at SAAS until the trip departs.
 

GEAR
 

It will be cold (potential 0 degrees Fahrenheit in the evening), so proper gear will be important. Start gathering the items you need. We have some gear that can be borrowed from SAAS, but it is limited. If you want to request gear from SAAS, we will send a gear request survey out after winter break. Please start reading through the gear list for suggestions and advice.
