Mock Trial Team Advances to State Tournament

On February 22 and 23, the District Mock Trial tournament took place at the Kitsap Country District Court in Port Orchard. SAAS was represented by two teams (see rosters below). After four rounds of competition, our Grey Team finished in sixth place which put them in the top tier of teams. The Red Team finished fourth which earned them a spot at the state tournament! The tournament takes place in Olympia from March 22-24. Congratulations to both teams!

In addition to our team performance, there were some individual awards, including an Overall Tournament Outstanding Attorney Award for Makena Kerns '19! Here are the other individual awards earned by SAAS students:
