Jackson Gode '14, a Senior Research Assistant-Governance Studies with the Brookings Institution has seen many of his articles published online. The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, DC. Their mission is to conduct in-depth research that leads to new ideas for solving problems facing society at the local, national and global level.

Jackson's published articles have addressed a variety of Governmental topics and issues including voting rights, White House security, and tax cuts. While at Seattle Academy Jackson was an active member in Youth Legislature and in 2014 traveled to the state capitol in Olympia where he was able to meet current Governor Jay Inslee.

We are happy to see Jackson pursuing interests that were identified and nurtured at SAAS. Congratulations on his  accomplishments and contributions in Washington, DC.
