Seattle Academy Places Fifth at WA State Photography Competition
Seattle Academy placed fifth overall in this year’s Washington State High School Photography Competition. This year’s competition included over four thousand entries, thirty-three of which were selected for the exhibition. Four students placed in four separate categories including:
- First Place – Portrait: Ruby Seiwert ’19
- Second Place – Documentary: Charlotte Zinda ‘18
- Third Place – Architecture: Lake Lewis ‘18
- Sixth Place – Abstract: Lucia Rosenast ‘19
The top three winners in each category will be included in the 2018 Washington State High School Photography Exhibit. The awards ceremony and reception will be held on June 7 from 7 – 9 PM at Wallingford Fame Central (305 NE 45th Street). Announcements begin at 8 PM.
