Fall Mania 2021 

Hundreds of proud Cardinals came out in record-breaking attendance for this year’s Fall Mania. A total of 12 games were played against 6 guest schools and the stadium bleachers were animated!

From the crowd, from the field — even from the logowear booth — participants could hear the enthusiasm and excitement of spectators at full volume. When we say Seattle Academy “showed up” to Fall Mania — we mean we showed up and showed our pride.

Friday brought Associated Student Body’s (ASB) Spirit Week to a close and just about everyone was sporting a combination of facepaint, bold red and black clothing, stickers and signage. 

Our drum line kept the crowd on beat. The Onions kicked off our girls varsity soccer game against U-Prep with the classiest national anthem to date. And throughout the evening, participants and spectators alike indulged in ice cream delights provided by our Seattle Academy Family Association. 

Even our Cardinal mascot came to this year’s games rearing to go. The Cardinal not only cheered on our teams from the sidelines but also jumped in for a shot or two on goal during the girls middle school soccer warm-up. Striking form, Cardinal!

On the outdoor fields, in distance-conscious groups, our community managed to funnel our school spirit and appreciation for athletics into one evening, one event, and many lasting memories. Just ask our ASB who kept the exuberance levels high well into the evening. Our student-athletes didn’t fatigue and neither did our student participants. We thank you all — students, parents, faculty and staff — for showing up and celebrating our fall sports teams. 

A special thank you to all of our guest teams who provided healthy competition: Bellevue Christian, Cedar Park Christian, Eastside Prep, Northwest School, University Prep, Vashon Island.
