SAAS Season One (FALL) Sports Wrap-up

Seattle Academy just wrapped up Season One of a COVID-19 adjusted season of what would normally have been a regular fall. This was the initial season of the newly formed Emerald Sound Conference (ESC) and the Cardinals had outstanding performances in all six sports!

"Considering all the craziness due to COVID-19, I think we had a great Season One," said SAAS Athletic Director Cathy Schick. “The enthusiasm from our student-athletes was great and the coaches adjusted to make the most of a very different kind of season.”

The SAAS boys’ golf team will hold their end of the season tournament on May 12, but a big congratulations to Head Coach Freddy Carley who was named ESC Coach of the Year.

This successful sports season was not just limited to the upper school level. Although the middle school did not competitively compete against other schools, Seattle Academy ran numerous clinics and ‘pods’ throughout the season. Over 200 kids participated in soccer, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and ultimate.

And finally, a shout-out to our Season One seniors! Thank you and good luck the rest of the school year and beyond! Go Cardinals!
