Last Friday, we officially kicked off the school year with New Faculty and Staff Orientation. On Monday of this week, all faculty and staff were back on campus to get ready for the start of the school year.

The week started out with everyone meeting each other and the new teams for the 2019-20 school year. Everyone then loaded on a school bus and headed down to Pier 54 for the opening day Argosy cruise around Elliott Bay and Puget Sound. The week progressed with a discussion about our new mission and guiding principles with Head of School Rob Phillips, Middle School faculty meetings, Upper School faculty meetings, department meetings, and trainings on systems and programs, all in preparation for the start of Upper School athletics on August 26, the 6th through 9th grade student orientation on August 29, and the first full day of school for all students on Tuesday, September 3. We are ready for the new school year!
