Williams Plans Conference and Wins NCTE Award

IM/MIGRANT STORIES: Literature, Resources, And Advocacy Conference Flyer

Madeline Williams, 7th grade English teacher, Coordinator, and Lacrosse Co-Head Coach, recently won the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Affiliate Leadership Development Award for 2018. This award recognizes Madeline for demonstrating the capacity for professional leadership and her willingness to participate in the upcoming academic year. The NCTE Affiliate Leadership Development Award winners will be honored at the 2018 NCTE Annual Convention, November 18, in Houston, Texas. 

Madeline helped plan the IM/MIGRANT STORIES: Literature, Resources, and Advocacy Conference which will be hosted on October 13 - 14 in Seattle, WA. This conference will be focused on student voices.
